After each goal allowed, Annandale High School junior goalkeeper Bob Stevens has a routine he learned from former Atoms goalie Matt Perez to clear his head. He first replays the goal in his mind, finding things he could have done differently -- ways he could have made the save. He then takes a walk around the crease while mentally preparing for the opportunity to redeem himself.
"Then I'm back and ready to go," said Stevens, who has helped lead his Atoms to a 6-1 record to start the season.
