New head coach Martin Chamberlin believes he can turn South Lakes girls lacrosse into a winning program.
The team, which won only one game in 2010,, began the 2011 season with an 18-5 victory over Dominion and is 1-2 so far.
“We are putting out our 12 best players that give us a shot at winning," Chamberlin says. "The girls have bought into that and they have been in the cellar for two years where they won one game against a weak opponent. To start out the season with an 18-5 win against a team that beat us last year got them really jazzed up.”
