The Llamas won three playoff games last month, including a come-from-behind victory over Vienna in the semifinals to claim the Northern Virginia Youth Lacrosse League Championship in the A division, the highest of three divisions.
The Llamas consist of players who will attend Heritage, Loudoun County, Loudoun Valley, Tuscarora and Woodgrove high schools, according to coach Mark Loving.
?They are a phenomenal group to coach,? Loving said. ?We had a strong, cohesive team that wanted to win together and that?s what they did. This is a very positive sign for the future of high school lacrosse in Loudoun County.?
